12V DC Air Conditioner for Trucks, RVs, Buses, Excavators, Campers, and Agricultural Vehicles
Category: nomadic cooling 3000 12v rv air conditioner
The integrated roof electric air conditioner is internally equipped with a vortex electric compressor, a high-density condenser, a low-noise evaporator, and a 120W high-power electronic fan. It boasts high efficiency and stability, offering a strong refrigeration effect and fast heat dissipation. The indoor panel at the bottom of the air conditioner features a digital display, allowing the user to turn it on through buttons or remote control. The 7 air outlets can be rotated to any direction, and in case of a fault, the code displayed on the panel can be used to confirm the issue.
Powered by a 12V DC battery, this air conditioner can be used even when the vehicle is turned off. When parked, the battery capacity determines the duration of use. The air conditioner has low voltage protection, automatically shutting down when the battery power is too low, ensuring the vehicle can still be started.
The key specifications of this 12V DC roof air conditioner are as follows: Voltage: DC 12V Starting current: 75A Power: 600W Refrigerating capacity: 8875BTU/1680W Function: cooling and heating Compressor: scroll type electric compressor (with refrigerant oil) Refrigerant type: R134a/400g Size: 68 * 63 * 20cm (27kg) Installation type: roof
Before installation, users should note that the starting current of this 12V air conditioner must reach 75A, so they should ensure their battery meets the requirements. Additionally, vacuum treatment (15-20 minutes) is required before adding the R134a/400g refrigerant, as there is no refrigerant inside the air conditioner when leaving the factory.
The installation process involves the following steps: 1. Clean up the area around the sunroof, applying sponge glue and waterproof glue to prevent water leakage. 2. Place the air conditioner on the roof, leaving the power cord outside. 3. Fix the long screws into the four screw holes on the bottom of the air conditioner. 4. Apply the sponge glue to the middle of the air conditioner's bottom. 5. Install the fixing rod on the screw, adjusting the direction as needed. 6. Connect the panel plug and the bottom plug of the air conditioner. 7. Perform the 15-20 minute evacuation, and then add 400g of R134a refrigerant. 8. Connect the power cord to the positive and negative poles of the 12V battery, ensuring correct polarity.
This electric air conditioner, operated by a battery (or generator), is an excellent choice for its low noise, energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness. It can be used in various vehicles, such as engineering vehicles, RVs, excavators, trucks, buses, and more, with or without a sunroof (sunroof size requirement: 225mm x 299mm).
