12V RV and Truck Air Conditioner, 9000 BTU
Category: nomadic cooling 3000 12v rv air conditioner
Attention Points on Product Description Before purchasing a 12V air conditioner, it is crucial to ensure the output current of the battery is sufficient by using a multimeter to check. The starting current required for the air conditioner is around 75A. Additionally, the air conditioner does not come pre-filled with refrigerant, and approximately 600g of R134a refrigerant needs to be added. Prior to adding the refrigerant, it is necessary to vacuum the system for about 15-20 minutes.
Installation Steps 1. Place the outdoor unit of the air conditioner in the designated installation position, mark the drilling points, and proceed with the installation. 2. Install the expansion valve of the evaporator and tighten the screws. 3. Install a wooden board on the interior wall of the vehicle, then fix the evaporator to the wooden board. 4. Insert the aluminum joint of the high and low-pressure pipes into the expansion valve, then clamp the aluminum joint with an iron plate and tighten the black screw in the middle. Connect the aluminum joint with a valve on the other end of the high and low-pressure pipes to the condenser and compressor interfaces. (The interfaces are differentiated by size, so there is no need to worry about incorrect connections.) 5. Connect the wiring harness between the evaporator and the outdoor unit of the air conditioner. Then, install a drainage pipe in the lower right corner of the evaporator. 6. Vacuum the air conditioner for 15-20 minutes, then add 600g of R134a refrigerant. The refrigerant can be added based on the pressure value. At an ambient temperature of 25-30°C, the high-pressure value should be between 130psi-160psi; at 30-35°C, the high-pressure value should be between 145psi-175psi; and at 35-40°C, the high-pressure value should be between 175psi-218psi, while the low-pressure value should uniformly be between 29-49psi. 7. Connect the power cord to the battery, taking care not to connect the positive and negative poles incorrectly. The red wire represents the positive pole, and the black wire represents the negative pole. 8. Turn on the air conditioning and check if it is functioning normally. The most common fault is insufficient voltage or current. If you have any unclear questions, you can consult us.
